Robert Pattinson’s cameo in The Penguin
Synopsis
After the events of The Batman (2022), Oz Cobb, aka the Penguin, stages a showdown to take over Gotham’s criminal underworld. Aside from a Bat-signal in the season finale, we never got to see him. In this short video, IMDb attempts to answer: Where was Batman?

Colin Farrell fought hard to get his own version of “The Penguin’s Smoking Tobacco” in The Batman (2022), but he failed. However, in his own series, the character is depicted as an occasional tobacco user, preferring cigars. An umbrella falls and the logo changes to the Warner Bros.
The first episode is a direct sequel to Matt Reeves’s
logo. The Graham Norton Show stars: Lady Gaga / Demi Moore / Colin Farrell / Richard Ayoade / Jack Savoretti (2024). Batman and I imagine those who haven’t seen the latter will be a bit lost.
As in The Batman, Colin Farrell does a great job of playing The Penguin as a stereotypical mobster
But I watched The Batman a while back and this show did a great job of quickly bringing me back to where the movie left off and not getting bogged down in a didactic recap. It also does a great job of reviving the film’s aesthetic and gritty tone, although the series has many more moments of wit than the film. ;street kid:" rude, dirty, vivacious and quick to commit violence; but also savvy, cunning and able to read people.
But so far, it’s a great start
The character may not be entirely related to the comic book version, but he’s interesting in his own right. I have my doubts about the Penguin series being set in adolescence; and I don’t know if The Penguin’s machinations will be enough to sustain a full season.
