Synopsis
A grieving therapist begins to tell his clients exactly what he thinks
Ignoring his qualifications and ethics, he finds himself making huge changes in people’s lives – including his own. In "Shrinking", they share the most important moments that defined their characters in Season 1 and reveal who did the best Harrison Ford impression. When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel and Bill Lawrence were asked how they got Harrison Ford on the show, Segel said that Goldstein originally wanted a “Harrison Ford type,” and was prepared to audition people like Ford.
Eventually, Goldstein spoke to Ford and sold him the role
Segel told Goldstein that they should at least take it to Ford first, because they thought he would immediately reject it, but at least others would hear that Harrison Ford was involved in the project, which also piqued the interest of other major actors. Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince her, but he cheered up nonetheless.. Featured in WatchMojo’s Top 10 Best TV Shows of 2023 (So Far) (2023).
This show is a blast!!
The characters have developed a lot in the first and second episodes, the jokes are perfectly timed and executed, and the actors all do an excellent job! This is one of the best episodes of Piolet I’ve seen in a long time! Harrison Ford does a wonderful job in his supporting role, and Jason Segal does an amazing job playing a flawed, damaged character trying to be a better man and father.
This is one of the best performances I’ve seen in a while!
This show made me laugh like I haven’t in a long time. As a psychology student, this show is hilarious, and as a theater student, I appreciate how great the script flows. I don’t understand the negative reviews, as this is one of my favorite shows after two episodes.
