It is followed by Wingit Place 2: Miss K (2024)
Raina’s life was threatened after she opened the door and entered an unnumbered hotel room run by her sister Faye. The figure of a woman with white hair and skin also made itself known.. Taken from the true story of a haunted hotel in Semarang with the initial “C”..
Not seeing any problems in this instruction, she readily agrees and begins her first working day
This film actually takes place in Indonesia, where a woman named “Ningrum” (Hami Dia) is hired as a maid in a hotel near Jakarta. On the first day, she is told that the construction of the third floor is underway, and that she should be avoided at all costs. And then, to her surprise, she hears a sound similar to a woman’s sobs – and it comes from a room on the third floor.
Naturally, being a little curious, she immediately goes on a reconnaissance
Then, entering the room where the sound is apparently coming from, she looks in horror at an extremely pale woman with white hair, who mutters some strange words to her, causing her to run out of the room in complete terror. Of course, three days later, at midnight, an invisible creature kills her. Then the screen cuts to a woman named “Rayna” (Luna Maya), who is being taken to the hotel she just inherited from her father.
And like everyone else who comes to this hotel, they tell her to avoid the 3rd floor at all costs
Traveling with her is her adopted teenage daughter “Faye” (Bianca Hello), who is looking forward to starting a new life in this exotic place. When they arrive there, she is met by her relatives who have been taking care of this place for several years. Unfortunately, not much time passes when she hears a woman sobbing from one of the rooms on the same floor, and that’s when the horror begins again.
And although the acting was adequate, what somewhat worsened the film was its rather predictable plot and unsatisfactory ending
Now, instead of revealing more, I’ll just say that it was a decent horror film that primarily benefited from its dark atmosphere and beautiful scenery. However, while it’s certainly not a great horror film, it still held my attention for most of the time, and I rated it accordingly. Average.
