Synopsis
About to embark on a world tour, global pop sensation Skye Riley begins experiencing increasingly terrifying and inexplicable events. Overwhelmed by mounting horrors and the pressures of fame, Skye is forced to face her past.. In one scene, Skye places a bottle of VOSS water on a rock. the marble kitchen counter and there is a noise that matches the sound of something plastic sitting down.

The VOSS water bottles are glass, something that is actually specifically pointed out in the movie, and therefore the sound doesn’t match the action seen.. Skye Riley: [to the Smiling Entity] You’re not in control, I am! . Well, Smile 2 certainly proves itself in Naomi Scott’s performance as Skye Reily.
It’s unlikely to happen
This role should get him noticed and hopefully lead to more top jobs. A worthy prize for sure, but let’s face it, this is a horror movie, so… The movie itself only gives vague answers and a lot of guesswork as to what is real and what is hallucinating Skye. This gets a bit frustrating as it is repetitive.

Also, what’s with the amount of times the Vossi water appears?! It’s getting kind of ridiculous. Maybe I’m missing something, and drinking water is more of a plot device than what we’re given about dehydration. Still, there’s a lot to admire in this sequel, and it’s not just a rehash of the first film.
I hope a few more things will be revealed
There are some creepy moments and an ambiguous ending that calls for a part 3. Leaving things up to the imagination is fine, but so is great storytelling where the writers just use it as an excuse not to find answers. This would be an average six star movie, but Naomi Scott is a star, so it gets. a 7.
